All I have is a Hallelujah

If you received my ministry update yesterday (see previous post), you know this season has been one of transition. Moving to Eswatini has been exciting, but it's also stretched me in ways I didn't expect. There have been moments of uncertainty, homesickness, and learning to trust God in a whole new way.

Today, our Grade 8 students put on a music concert, and one of the songs they sang was "Gratitude" by Brandon Lake. As they sang, "So I'll throw up my hands and praise You again and again, because all that I have is a hallelujah," I found myself overwhelmed.

It was one of those moments where God gently reminded me that worship isn't dependent on my circumstances. Even in seasons of change, He is still faithful. Even when life feels unfamiliar, He is still worthy of my praise.

I left the concert with a grateful heart, reminded that I am exactly where God has called me to be. Serving these incredible students at Project Canaan is a privilege, and today they ministered to me far more than they will ever know.

Sometimes, all we have is a hallelujah. And today, that was more than enough.
